"Trauma unit stay."

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Trauma Ward

(as the patient),

I was in for an infection in my blood coming from my new prosthetic hip . It took regular blood testing. I don’t like needles!  The doctors and nurses who took blood were always very friendly and put me at ease each time which I was thankful for.

Hygiene was paramount in the hospital. There were people who sanitised and cleaned the rooms daily. They were very thorough. Thanks to them.
The meals in the hospital were beautiful and just the correct portion size. There was a great selection. The nurses who gave me my meals always had a smile and a friendly word. They made my stay in Trauma ward as pleasant as they could.
I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for looking after me so well. They were always there to assist me.

To be honest Louise, words are not enough for the work the NHS do particularly in the Trauma Ward.
