"Shocking support resulting in increased disability"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I have been under the care of the orthopaedics for over 2 years. I have chronic arthritis in booth knees and struggle to walk. I require a knee replacement but have been refused support due to my age and bmi. I am now facing losing my job as I am unable to walk. Every time I visit I get fobbed off and left to struggle. No support offered to help with bmi and every time I go I see someone different. I am 53 and have no quality of life. I have now requested a review in another trust.
