"Conflicting advice about MRI scan"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Radiology

(as a relative),

My husband is an inpatient at Wishaw at the moment.  The doctor wants him to have an mri scan.  Radiology say no.  What the hell is going on with this hospital?  Who is this down to?  I thought doctors were supposed to know best?

Dear octobergz38

I'm very sorry to hear that your husband has not had a good experience waiting for an MRI scan, at what must be a very worrying time for you.

If you would like to contact our Patient Affairs team with your husband's details then I would be happy to look into this further for you.

With kind regards,

Sara

Thank you for replying Sara but to be honest in my experience patient affairs are a waste of time. I feel that everything is brushed under the carpet I understand covid has put a strain on the NHS but people are still entitled to a duty of care and that's not happening at wishaw general
