"Amazing maternity experience"

I had an elective C section at Aberdeen maternity hospital in May and I wanted to share my experience.

The staff who did my section were all incredible - they could obviously tell I was very nervous and anxious about the procedure, and made a huge effort to make me feel at ease throughout. I wish I could remember the names of the staff so I could credit them specifically. Thank you for making the experience as pleasant as possible and delivering our daughter safely into the world. The nurses and midwives in recovery were also amazing and helped me to start to establish breast feeding.

I stayed at Ashgrove ward for 2 nights thereafter where the experience continued to be great. I wanted to specifically thank Anna for her help through the night, and also the RGU student midwives who were so lovely too. They are a credit to RGU and they will be amazing midwives once they graduate - specifically Ksusha (please forgive spelling) and Stephanie. 

My daughter and I are now at home enjoying our new born bubble and I'm equipped with such valuable information and guidance from the lovely staff from AMH
