"Extremely bad communication "

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

I had a telephone follow up to an ongoing issue where it felt like a recent operation was blamed even though symptoms were present and already being investigated long before the op. Anyway since that March appointment there has been no communication via my GP, no letter to me, nothing uploaded to the NHS app with details of what was discussed or next steps, nor prescribing instructions for GP, no contact details for the department except a secretary who never answers the phone and i only found that number via an internet search and my condition has worsened and so its back to the GP for a re referral and to start all over again! I have a lot of dealings with St Marys overall across various departments and this has been by far the worst department!

Dear Louise

Many thanks for taking the time to contact PALS at Imperial College Healthcare via the NHS Choices website. I am very sorry to read of your experience. If you would like to contact me with your name and date of birth and I will be more than happy to forward your concerns to the relevant managers; hopefully we will be able to resolve the matter. My email address is john.ward22@nhs.net.

Many thanks and kind regards

John
