"Life changing support"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Fareham

(as a service user),

I became alcohol dependent during covid lockdown. I had been unhappy for man year in my marriage but the lockdown brought added misery and confounded the situation. I began to drink more heavily and eventually it was my only friend, until I discovered inclusion.

I had tried other avenues to stop drinking but they didn't work for me. I cannot praise Inclusion enough. The help I got from my case workers, the counselling from Dowe, and the teams meetings with Ricky and Emma, were just life changing for me. It helped me to not only stop drinking but to get to the root of the reason why I felt I needed to drink. To change my outlook on life and myself. It helped me to cope with difficult situations and gave me the tools to help myself and have a better life.

This service and the people providing it are just amazing. I don't know what I would have done without them. I just can't thank them enough. I would recommend this service is more widely advertised and easier for people to fund and access. I am much happier now.

Thank you all.
