"Good treatment"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

On the 23/04/22 at approximately 0830hrs , I had to take my son to Urgent Care after he returned from a trip to Nepal with a broken ankle . The triage nurse who dealt with us was brilliant and her care and attention made a tough time so much easier . I would like to thank her for her professionalism and sense of humour . Thanks again 🙏

Thank you for your email following the care and treatment your son received at the Urgent Care Centre at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital after breaking his ankle.

We are very proud of our staff and the services we provide but it is always nice when somebody takes the time and effort to write to tell us about their experience.

I will ensure that your very kind and most welcome comments are shared with all the staff within the Emergency Department. We would like to pass your thanks on to the triage nurse on duty when you attended, and would be most grateful if you could contact me at patientexperience@elht.nhs.uk. If you do not know the triage nurse name, would you remember the colour of uniform. Also the time, date and patient details in order for us to check the staff on duty at the time of your son's attendance.

Thank you once again for taking the time to write.
