About: NHS Fife / COVID-19 Vaccination Service

(as a service user),

The staff member who saw us at vaccine centre Glenrothes was patient, kind and empathetic to the situation of my son having his first vaccine. He was nervous, made worse by a patient becoming unwell in area. He reassured him and settled him. Excellent interpersonal skills.

The same cannot be said for the rude and unsympathetic healthcare support workers on site. No reassurance was given to those waiting after an incident was dealt with.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm pleased the member of staff was able to reassure your son and I will pass on your kind words.

However, I am concerned to hear about the healthcare workers you describe. This is not the behaviour I expect from our hard working team. My sincere apologies.
