From the out of hours GP service, the reception nurse to the wonderful doctor, I cannot fault the caring, friendly supportive team that looked after me last night.
The wait was long but it would have been longer if I had not rung 111 first and then seen the out of hours GP, who referred to a surgeon. I was listened too, supported and helped as quickly as possible. With a follow up scan already booked before I left. The Doctor was particularly lovely, noticing a that I was a little upset, allowed me to explain my worries and recent experience of loosing my Dad. He shared some wise words! All in the busy A and E. I definitely felt like a person and not a number.:-)
Amazing people, thank you x
My only complaint would be because the wait time is so long, the old chairs are not comfortable and actually caused me and others much discomfort. Not asking for comfy sofas but the metal chairs have had there day and are broken. I think solving this problem might make the wait more bearable.
