About: Gartnavel General Hospital / General Surgery (ward 4a)

(as the patient),

I was into ward 4a for a hip operation this week.

I’ve had not a great experience for a few years with it all…

However, once at Gartnavel, I could not have had a better experience. Every single member of staff I came across was friendly, and could not have been better. There were two nursing students, who were truly exceptional and I could not personally thank them enough. All the nurses on the ward were fantastic, everyone went the extra mile and I’m so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. I am now well on the road to recovery and it’s all due to their fantastic service and skill.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of using Ward 4A of the Gartnavel General Hospital.

I was sorry to hear you have been having issues with your hip so I'm glad you were finally able to receive your hip operation to help with this.

It was great to hear how the staff were able to put your mind at ease and the attitude displayed by the staff was of a professional, caring and friendly nature.

I will be delighted to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved including the two nursing students who I'm sure will be humbled to hear how they were able to make a difference while you were under their care.

I would like to wish you a speedy recovery and hope your now in a lot less pain.
