I am not too sure what happened but I was sat waiting for a virtual pre-op (must say I was nervous as due an op).... no call happened so I called the customer contact line 2 hours later to be told I was rude for asking and my appointment was cancelled due to short staff... The lady I spoke to in Pre-Op virtual actually made me cry with her manner and words. I was given another number to ring and I spoke to another lady who said she would contact the relevant team and call me back.... I am still waiting and non the wiser?
I would recommend that even if staff are stressed it is also very stressful being a patient and we are only human who wish to talk to someone who is kind! I don't even mind if it was bad news !
