"Outstanding care and support for my breast cancer"

I was diagnosed with breast cancer as a young adult, at Diana Princess of Wales hospital Grimsby in 2020.

Since then I’ve had 3 surgeries, and years of various treatment. I think this hospital is outstanding. The care and support I have received has been amazing throughout.

The staff at the Pink Rose suite are wonderful and have kept me informed and supported me throughout treatment and beyond. I would (and do frequently) recommend this department.

The Amethyst Unit have been awesome. I am in there regularly and the staff are lovely and supportive. The ladies on reception always try to book appointments that suit you. 

I’ve had a few trips to day surgery and I love these guys just as much. They are fun, friendly and work so hard to ensure you have what you need. 

The theatre staff are great and really put you at ease. I know I’m due another operation soon and I’m genuinely looking forward to chatting with them again. They are all so lovely.

It would take me a lifetime to thank every single person and department, and I could never thank them enough. But to EVERYONE, and I mean everyone, surgeons, nurses, secretaries, porters, healthcare assistants, thank you so much for caring.
