About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My care in AMU has been absolutely exceptional and I am very grateful for the care I have received.

The reason the care is so good is due to the exceptional staff who have been so attentive to me and are angels with how much care and treatment they give us.

The food has been very good and I always get more than enough.

The doctors have been very helpful and are very approachable meaning any issues or things I haven’t understood can very easily be explained to me.

The toilets are sometimes not in good condition however anytime staff are asked or informed they get cleaned within the hour which makes the patients’ lives a lot easier.

The ward is sometimes quite nosey however I do understand the reason for this.

I have no issues and want to thank all staff for my care and exceptional treatment

Hi,

I am happy to hear of your good experience in AMU and that you are receiving great care from our staff. I apologise for the toliets not always being in the condition they should be, though it is good to hear that the staff are quick to rectify this for the patients. Thank you for also being understanding of the noise levels at times, though I hope it is not too disruptive during your stay. for I will be sure to pass on all of your feedback to the whole team.
