I accompanied my husband for an X-ray where there were numerous notices regarding Dementia patient respect . When my husband was called I told her I was my husbands carer . She said to my husband .. do you have an issue .. ha has Dementia and said ‘ no’ .. she told me to sit down . Last time my husband had surgery he got lost in James Cook hospital and the hospital had to be locked until they found him . I did not feel any respect as my husbands dementia carer .. notices give a much more positive attitude . I am really cross . My husband is very intelligent and gives an air of complete control .. but he has dementia and Alzheimer’s .
