"NHS Health Check"

I have had horrific experiences at another local GP surgery. This has left me with a great deal of medical and health anxiety. I have since moved surgery, and decided I would go for a NHS health check even though it was two years late (due to the awful other surgery).

I went through the results with a very friendly and kind nurse. She was reassuring and cheerful, and made the process very easy. She did not belittle me or patronise me for being overweight, and was positive about the good health choices I'm making. She was empathic and I was very grateful to have had my check with her. Thank you.
