"Endoscopy procedure"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I had to go to the endoscopy suite, I was actually dreading the procedure. On arrival I was greeted by a very nice nurse called Julie who took all my details and clerked me in. She explained what would be happening and that she would be with me all the way throughout the procedure in the theatre. The girls in the theatre were also nice. It had a very relax atmosphere with a bit of banter and humour. Julie did stay talking to me and putting me at my ease. What a GREAT team. Well done everyone, xx

Dear Swanny the Geordie,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback to us about your positive experience within the unit. As a team we really do appreciate it. I hope you are now at home and feeling well. I will share your lovely feedback with all the team. Thanks again and we all need a bit of banter!
