"Poor treatment in A&E Department"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Accident and emergency Darent Valley Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

After having radio frequency ablation I was admitted to beech ward and discharged 11 days later with oral medication but the leg infection got worse so represented to A&E towards the end of March only to be treated with no respect by a senior staff member and no one wanted to come and assess the leg infection from either the medical team or the orthopaedic team.  So I wanted to speak to a manager only for them not to want to speak to me either. The service of care is appalling and based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend this A&E department to anyone.
