(as the patient),

Hi just wondering how long does it take once a referral is made? Mental health is getting severe, very high risk at home, don’t feel safe.

Crisis team made a referral and just wondering how long it take for them to pick it up and what are the next steps once accepting the referral or declining the referral.

I am very sorry if there has been a delay in response to a referral which has impacted on your mental health. Referrals are reviewed within a very short time frame with a decision being made and relayed to the referring care team who should keep you up to date.
