3 weeks ago we welcomed our new addition to the world at the RAH Paisley maternity unit by c section and I would just like to take the time to give the staff and the hospital itself the praise it deserves.
Our baby was born at 12:52 by section. She was born early and weighing a low weight of 4 pound 9. Due to weight our stay extended to 6 days rather than your usual 2 days.
From the day we arrived to the day we left, the staff have been unbelievable. They where so attentive and caring to me and baby, nothing was an issue. You could clearly see they where very busy, but they made sure I always well looked after.
The hospital was very clean and always well stocked with all the essentials that mum and baby were needing. I would like to especially like to thank midwife, Lesley. I honestly don’t think I would have coped the days and night with out her support and reassurance. I would also like to thank the local midwives who continued our care from home, also fantastic.
All the staff in the maternity unit deserve more credit for what they do and how they look after us and our new babies.
My baby and myself would just like to thank you personally for all your help and wish you all the best in the future. X
