About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

I attended your A and E Dept at c.10.45 p.m. on Saturday 29th January with a suspected DVT/clot following a hip replacement at another hospital. I was seen within 40 minutes and although tests and results were inevitably not quick, all staff from health care assistants to the A and E consultant treated me with care, patience and courtesy during my 5 hour visit. On Monday 31st Jan and Monday 7th February I attended AEC for follow up ultrasound scans and again could not fault the care given. I would like to congratulate both departments on the exemplary care received, which reflects the NHS at its best.
