The Redcliffe surgery had previously shepherded me through a diagnosis, hospital referral and treatment of prostate cancer. I was worried about the appearance of a possible side effect. A GP phoned me within hours of posting an online query. Two days later I received a call from Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for a sigmoidoscopy and two days after that I reviewed the results with the same GP. A pathway was identified and I was left in awe of such sheer professionalism.
