"Long wait for treatment"

It is a scandal that a lot of patients are having to wait several months now for treatment. I've been informed that my wait for oral surgery could be as long as 40 weeks, despite having painful symptoms. I'm sure, however, there are patients worse off than me. It should never have been allowed to get this bad, Covid is a convenient excuse.

It's not just the Government, what about the Hospital Managers and Doctors that have allowed this to go on for so long.
