"Very good at listening"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a carer),

I took my Dad to an outpatient respiratory clinic for follow-up after he had been treated for lung cancer. The doctor who saw us was a Dr Wakefield and he was very good at listening to my Dad and myself about hospital admissions since the cancer surgery and general health concerns.

He was considerate and understanding to my Dad's wishes and was very pleasant to speak to.

Good evening Happy68

I am so happy tonight to read your kind words regarding your recent visit with your dad to University Hospital Wishaw, Respiratory Ward 7.

I am delighted the care, treatment and attention your dad received from Dr Wakefield was the standard we always strive to achieve and maintain.

I am sure Dr Wakefield and the staff will take encouragement from your positive words which will give me pleasure to share with them.

I wish your dad all the very best in his recovery and, you for the future.

Kind regards

Jean
