My son wanted to use ask my GP but he doesn't come home until after half past four and has to leave early in the morning, we have no transport or support nearby and no one can drive in our house, and because you have changed when ask your GP , to not available after half past four this is not great, he has learning disabilities and I am his carer, and his dad is clinically extremely vulnerable

I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties. We do get nearly 2000 requests per week via askmyGP and the decision to shut it down at 1630 was in order to try and safely manage the end of the day. We are keen to provide solutions for patients in order for them to access the practice and the phone lines are open until 1830 from Mon to Fri and can still be used to contact the surgery. If you need further help, please contact the practice directly and we will see what other options we can look at for you.
