"Just awful"

About: Shirley Medical Centre

Experienced some blood in my urine which I had for about a week. When I phoned up the the receptionist was a bit concerned so booked me in for a "telephone consultation" but the doctor wasn't even interested. Just told me that I was fine. Ended up having to pay for private doctor to have a check up. Yes it was nothing thankfully but the doctor at Shirley medical centre just completely dismissed my concerns as "nothing" and it was done over the phone. They said to take some antibiotics but as I had just started some medication for egg donation I was worried it would affect it, but I was rudely told that I should have mentioned the medication at the time of joining. I wasn't doing egg donation at the time of joining.

I Also wanted to sort my back out and they just dismissed this as well as nothing on a telephone consultation not sure what good this is. You can't see anything over the phone.

Then I moved because of circumstances regarding my ex landlord explained this and was told I was now out of the catchment area and wouldn't be seen at this doctors again. I asked to be removed and they said no. But in 2 weeks if I don't get a doctors everything would be sent back to the NHS. Still haven't done so still receiving texts to book appointments.

So you ask to be taken off the records because you do not want to be dealing with this. I would rather pay for private treatment than ever go back here. Yet they refuse. I asked to be taken off the smear reminders as I don't want one ever yet they refuse to do this as well. Just ridiculous.
