I was delivered to the care of the hospital after falling of my bike and sustaining a broken collar bone and several cracked ribs. I was impressed by the care with which my injuries were assessed and the follow-up assessment on the following day. The care and attention I received from the nursing and medical staff was both kind and reassuring. I also found that the food I was offered during my brief stay was very appetising - my appetite may have been influenced by the amount of exercise I had undertaken during the preceding days, but it was a joy to eat. While I would not make a habit of visiting hospitals, the Lancaster Royal Infirmary is a good place to be if you need medical attention.
"Great care and good food"
