Unfortunately my husband sustained an accident whilst at work. 2 paramedics assessed him on site and safely transferred him to Wishaw General A&E.
Outside A&E which was the 1st and last opportunity, due to visiting restrictions in the hospital in response to current COVID situation they supported me to see and talk briefly to my husband). The paramedics fully advised me of their professional assessment and the care they had provided him. Being a recently retired nurse this put my mind at ease. Both paramedics were caring and compassionate truly demonstrating person centred care. Taking into consideration any actions that may have increased my husband's pain and doing everything in their power to avoid this. I am truly grateful for the care they provided and wish them both (young adults) every success in their ongoing career in the Scottish ambulance service.
My husband and I would like our appreciation of their service noted and our thanks passed to them , though I did not manage to get their names. Happy to privately provided any further information that may be required to allow the two paramedics to be identified.
