About: Urgent Community Response / Bassetlaw Urgent Community Response Team

(as a service user),

I have been immobile for some weeks due to a problem with my lungs and had concerns that I was going to develop bedsores, so we called the rapid response team for a cushion.

The lady came out to my assistance within hours and not only helped with a cushion but also assessed me for other aids and gave suggestions to improve my health and well being whilst I am coping with these health issues.

Whilst she was on her visit I had a dizzy spell and she gave me time and care making sure I wasn’t having a TIA or anything else wrong.

She was thorough, informative, pleasant and friendly. I felt totally at ease and much better after her visit.

As an extra bonus she came back with a bath chair which has made me so pleased as I haven’t been able to have anything other than a strip wash for weeks.

My daughter and I can’t thank the team enough.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback about our fantastic Rapid Response Team. It's great to hear that we were able to help you so quickly by getting you the right equipment, you must feel so much better being able to have a bath or shower safely.
