"Needs severe improvement "

About: Dr Amanda M Davies & Dr C S Jayakumar

This surgery stops and refuses to prescribe you medication you have been prescribed for years. No contact, no discussion. They pine of medical conversations to receptionists to avoid patients which is frankly appalling. No accountability or empathy from doctors. Especially for mental health or neurodevelopmental disorders. Highly concerning they can stop someone’s adhd medication without notice. I wonder if they would do the same to someone with a physical injury. This is discriminatory.

The surgery staff especially doctors need training on communication skills and empathy. Stop putting awful tasks on receptionists and take accountability for your decisions.

I really hope one day someone with compassion and good leadership skills runs this surgery. It’s been struggling for a while under it’s current partners. Perhaps they have been in the nhs for so long they’ve forgotten their priority is patient well-being.

I’ve thankfully moved to another GP after one of pear trees GP’s hung up the phone on me when I asked them why my meds were stopped. I understand speaking to humans might be difficult but if you’re in this profession you might want to atleast try to be good at it.

Best of luck to the employees of the partners and the patients, they will definitely need it. I hope CQC can see through their fabrication of data and care and finally tell them to change their ways.
