"CBT therapy"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

Iv never had any type of therapy before and wasn't sure what to expect at first, but before you start you have online meetings on what to expect and what they can do for you and how, you also get to ask any questions you might have. This is a group thing that is only a username/number so you don't have to worry about privacy.

I did 10 weeks of CBT and cant thank them enough its helped me a lot to control my OCD and to also recognise what I need to do and change to keep things going in the right direction. They break it all down and anything you don't understand they will help to clarify. As long as your willing to put the work in to change things in your life and get on the right track don't put it off! Its ok to say I need some help, advice, support and that's what they are there for.

Dear Frosted35,

Thank you for your feedback on your experience with Inclusion Thurrock.

The online meeting you are describing is our webinar called Time for Change, it is recommended previous your treatment; as you well described this webinar explains what you can expect from us, as well what we expect from you, what is and what is not therapy and gives even some techniques preparing you for change!

And yes, it is completely confidential, you log in with your 1st name and your unique ID number (given to you previously), participant's cameras and microphones are off, and participants can engage through the chat function. Thank you to bring that information up, as many people may have a different idea when they hear is a group.

I'm glad that you came to us and you put the hard work on to control your OCD, and also to be able to recognise what you needed to do and the changes to keep things going in the right direction for you.

It is great you didn't put it off and recognised it is OK to ask for help, advice and/or support, you are right again, that is why we are here, and we are very pleased to help more people to work at their pace, where is easy to digest the information and progress in the right direction to feel better.

Congratulations Frosted35 for the progress you have done so far in your journey, keep that great attitude.

J. Isabel Saunders
