"The NHS at its very best."

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services

Slipped on ice and landed heavily on my hip. NHS111 were really helpful and arranged for an ambulance to get me to hospital. Arrived at George Elliott A&E just after midnight. I was seen by a doctor in 15 mins, has my X-ray approx 20 mins later, and revisited by doctor 20 mins later with x-ray results. No break or fracture so they supplied me with crutches so I could start back on the road to recovery. I was treated with consideration and care. From my perspective the service I received could not have been better. A credit to the A&E team on duty on the night of Friday 14 Jan 2022.

Dear Graham, thank you very much for taking the time to tell us about your experience of the A&E department. I'm really happy to read that you feel you were treated with consideration and care and that the service you received couldn't be improved. I will be sure to feedback your comments to the team - it will mean a lot to them. Best wishes, Becky, Patient Experience Manager
