May I add that the care I had from the Drs was absolutely amazing.
I understand Covid rules but when checking in I had to explain all my medical history through a plastic windows. The whole of the waiting room could hear me. No confidentiality. Surely this need to be rectified. I asked to talk in private and I was accommodated and taken to a private room.
Then I was Triaged by two nurses. It was like a conveyor belt. I was scared of the needle. No reassurance , no conversation, no listening to what I was trying to say ( nicely and I understand they were busy it was a second fleeting comment to them) . They were like 2 sergeant majors. I went in the room. She sat me down. Got my blood. No talking no nothing. I felt intimidated, when I asked questions they took no notice and wanted me out of the room asap.
An old lady had waited ages. They showed her no empathy or a nice manner. All they had to do was smile at her! I took the time to sit with the lady with another patient who had noticed aswell that she was sad . 85 year old, alone , upset and no smile no
Nothing. I got her a cup of tea. The poor lady.
They shouted patients names as though they were in the army.
Surely this has to be addressed!
