"Stay efficient and 100%"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Daisy Hill Hospital / Male Medical Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came via ambulance to Daisy Hill Hospital after suffering from chest pain. The ambulance was absolutely 100% - all the staff were dead on, very good. it was very fast and efficient.

I was then triaged in A&E, had my bloods and ECG done - again it was all very efficient. The staff were all very good and doing their absolute best in the current circumstances. It was a bit slow getting up onto the ward due to there being a lack of beds.

Up on the Male Medical Ward it has been absolutely dead on - 100% - no issues. The nurses are all very good at their job.

Dear jupiternm99,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your recent experience with us and for the kind feedback in relation to NIAS.

It is just wonderful to hear you describe the care and attention you received as “absolutely 100%” and this feedback will mean so much to our staff. I would very much like to share your compliments to the crew who attended to you. However, I would require a few extra details to enable me to identify and locate them. If you would be prepared to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me on rebecca.smyth@nias.hscni.net.

I hope you are feeling much better and are recovering well,

Kind regards

Rebecca Smyth
