(as a relative),

Unable to join Zoom meeting. Host will let you in soon, they didn’t!

Disappointed, obviously.

Dear Betabc65.

My name is Máire and I'm part of the team that oversees the virtual visiting service, and I want to apologise for issues you had connecting.

We know that it can be difficult being separated from your loved ones when they are in hospital and it must have been doubly frustrating to not be able to connect when you were expecting to see them.

Can I ask that you contact the team directly on 028 9024 0503 and explain that you have had an issue with the video call, and they will be able to facilitate getting a new appointment arranged for you.

Again, my apologies for this, and I will look into what we can do to ensure that this is avoided in the future.

Best wishes,

Máire
