"Heart attack and the care afterwards"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical) Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

When I was told I had a heart attack I was in shock and everything happens so quickly. Everyone tried to put me at ease and explained the procedures to follow. I noticed it was like a well oil machine everyone new there place and what to do, I soon realised I was I good hands. Once we arrived at the hospital and into theatre I new it was serious, but again I new I was in good hands. The feedback I received when going through this process was excellent. My follow up care was incredibly efficient and comprehensive.

My Cardiac Specialist Nurse is so knowledgeable she never leaves anything to chance and has followed everything up. I'm extremely pleased.
