About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Maternity

(as a service user),

Elective c section after induction at 36+2 was given the chance and option to try virginal delivery. Things didn’t work out as planned for us but was given great support and advice resulting in c section early morning with a fantastic team with all answers we needed and complete reassurance throughout the procedure including hysterectomy, With fantastic results and a beautiful baby girl.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! I was so pleased to read that although things didn't go to plan, you were still given great support and reassurance from the team that looked after you.
