"Exceptional team work great practice"

I went into A&E with diagnosed ectopic pregnancy which was diagnosed 2 days earlier by the very helpful Early pregnancy team. The A&E staff after seeing my report took me in within minutes due to pain and admitted me for a check by the gynae team. The nurses in A&E on a bank holiday including the agency staff were all friendly and exceptionally caring. Within 2 hours of being admitted i went in to emergency surgery to remove my fallopian tube. The surgeons were kind the anaesthetist was humorous and tried to relax a stressful situation. I woke up at 2am and was taken to the Mary Seacole ward. The nurses took great care of me and even though it took a good few hours for medication to arrive from the pharmacy in the end I was discharged the next day. I cant fault the staff at all, under extreme pressures they were great. Thank you Whittington team.
