"Always deliver the best level of care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I have been struggling with my Crohn’s disease diagnosis and flare ups, and without being so cared for and cheered up by the staff it would’ve been harder than I ever thought I could cope with. The Auxiliary nurses, and the staff nurses were unbelievably attentive, respectful, patient and compassionate. They never failed to make you smile and laugh, which is wonderful when you are anxious in the hospital and at your most vulnerable. They are a credit to the profession, and especially with lack of staffing due to covid or cuts, they always delivered the best level of care.
