I was emergency admitted to surgery in late November and quickly admitted to ward 9D. After a CT scan and ultrasound scan I had my gall bladder removed. I have been home now and I am regaining fitness.
I must compliment all the staff working in ward 9 and also the staff in the CT and US departments.
I was very well looked after from the moment I arrived at reception until my discharge. Everything was clearly explained to me and I saw 2 or 3 doctors each day and nursing and auxiliary staff were superb.
It greatly annoys me that the press and media give prominence to negative comments about the QEUH.
"Well looked after from the moment I arrived"
