"Put under pressure"

About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as the patient),

i just wanted to get more contraception and they asked if I had ever done an examination and I told them I didn’t want to do one.   I felt forced to do one, even after saying no multiple times they still pressured me into doing it but I continued to refuse.  It made me feel so uncomfortable.  I understand that they’re only doing their job but I feel really uncomfortable now and as if I don't want to go back

On behalf of Suzie Sellberg, Clinical Lead Nurse. This is very concerning to hear and I am very disappointed this was your experience in clinic. Please contact me on 0300 124 5022 and I will get some more detail regarding what happened, and do my best to help accordingly.
