My initial appointment arrived before Christmas for the end of May. I was feeling dreadful so phoned the rheumatology department who directed me to Outpatients to try and get a cancellation. Outpatients could not have been kinder and I was fortunate to be offered an appointment the next morning. The rheumatology team under Mr Al-Saffar could not have been kinder or more thorough. Because so few people are allowed into the hospital environment the waiting room was calm, felt safe and very efficient. The Main Reception was attentive and it is so much better that the phlebotomy department is now situated in Outpatients B. I felt all my concerns were listened to and taken into account by the consultant and at last, after a long period of difficulty, I am possibly able to move forward with my problems. I am so grateful to everyone concerned. Many thanks.
"Excellent team work."
