About: The Station Practice

I have tried to make an appointment daily for the last week. Today it took 41 attempts. I was told I was number 28 in the queue. At 7 minutes to nine,im not going to be answered in time to make an appointment by 9oclock so hung up. I've tried the webb site and I'm informed that the site is not safe. I know if I can get it an appointment,the service will be excellent . But honestly, u have more chance of picking the lottery winning numbers than getting an appointment.

Any ideas ?

Dear Reviewer - thank you for your feedback, we sincerely would like to apologise for the access issues. Please could you advise how you were made aware the access to our website was not safe? there are lots of ways you can book with the practice:

1. 8am on the day, by phone or in person

2. Pre-bookable telephone appointments, normally one month in advance

3. Push Doctor - for pre-bookable appointments

4. LIVI service – for pre-bookable appointments

5. Engage Consult online service – if received before 11am, responded to same day but does not result in appointment as that would still need a call from the practice?

6. Paramedic appointment for triage? When/how can this be booked by a patient – or do they call any time within opening hours?

We take all feedback seriously as way of improving our services, please also note due to high levels of staff sickness and an increase in demand we are experiencing extremely higher call volumes but we do endeavor to answer calls as soon as we can.
