I have been suffering with ill mental health for many years, mainly depression and anxiety. I reached out and sought help from my GP they referred me to the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) - Loughview Resource Centre in Magherafelt for more support. Here they further diagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in 2018 which I was completely unaware of but since being diagnosed it has helped me in many ways in understanding myself etc.
I was assigned a key worker (Sarah) whom has been very helpful when it came to me and my needs. She arranges phone calls/meetings/medication reviews etc to make sure I am coping. She is a lovely girl whom I can confide in when I feel I need a chat when I feel low. I would highly recommend Sarah and the CMHT.
Sarah had then referred me to the Conditions Management Programme (CMP) where I met Sian. Whilst participating with the CMP I learnt so much about a variety of topics via Zoom classes. These classes are full of great, helpful information which I would highly recommend to anyone.
Sian also arranged phone calls etc to check in with me. She is so friendly and approachable and if I ever needed her I knew I could reach out. I would also recommend Sian and her Programmes. Without Sarah and Sian I don't think I would've been able to get any better like I have so I would like to say a massive thank you to these wonderful ladies!
