"My stay in surgical 2"

About: Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2

(as the patient),

I fractured my pelvis and was unable to walk. I was admitted to surgical 2 and the care I received from the nurses and doctors was second to none. If I needed help which I did often I only had to press the nurse aid and someone attended promptly. I was in a lot of pain and the pain management was excellent. I was well looked after and received physio daily to aid me on my way to recovery again. I spent a week in surgical 2 and a plan was put in place before I was released to ensure I had sufficient aids to take home to assist me. I was provided with a rollator, crutches and a commode. Overall I was more than satisfied with the care I was provided with.
