I have never had to have any kind of procedure done at hospital before. I was very nervous. I have schizophrenia and severe anxiety issues. On the Endoscopy Unit at County Hospital on 22/12/21 at 13.45, I had an appointment to have an endoscopy.
I feel the need to take the time to give a very heart felt thank you and compliment to all staff on the ward. I found the staff very friendly, easy to talk to, but what shined the most - staff were very kind.
I don't know the name of the lady in the procedure with me, showing me how to use the gas and air, but she was so lovely.
My name is Phillipa Parker-Jones, if you can narrow down who she was, I would love her to get special recognition. She was exceptional, made me laugh and took my mind off the procedure and I was very grateful.
Massive thanks to all staff on the Endoscopy Unit, Merry Christmas!
