"Endoscopy Unit at County Hospital"

About: County Hospital

I have never had to have any kind of procedure done at hospital before. I was very nervous. I have schizophrenia and severe anxiety issues. On the Endoscopy Unit at County Hospital on 22/12/21 at 13.45, I had an appointment to have an endoscopy.

I feel the need to take the time to give a very heart felt thank you and compliment to all staff on the ward. I found the staff very friendly, easy to talk to, but what shined the most - staff were very kind.

I don't know the name of the lady in the procedure with me, showing me how to use the gas and air, but she was so lovely.

My name is Phillipa Parker-Jones, if you can narrow down who she was, I would love her to get special recognition. She was exceptional, made me laugh and took my mind off the procedure and I was very grateful.

Massive thanks to all staff on the Endoscopy Unit, Merry Christmas!

Dear Phillipa

Thank you so much for this lovely feedback. It is great to hear that our Endoscopy staff helped you through your procedure and made a difficult experience much easier for you. I will share your kind words with the Senior Sister who I know will identify who was by your side during your procedure and make sure she is thanked personally.

Kind Regards

Angela Grocott
