"The Fern Centre Accommodation"

About: Cancer Services / Living With & Beyond Cancer (Fern Centre)

(as a relative),

We came up from Exmouth yesterday for early morning surgery on the Day Case Unit  - my grandchild had to isolate so couldn't use a hotel.

Really grateful for the facility- my grandchild gets car sick and I struggle to drive in the dark and we have had to leave home at 4.00am - No complaints whatsoever - the porter was a gem.

I would recommend the Fern Centre Accommodation 100% and I cannot calculate the amount of stress staying here alleviated. - calm night before the operation,no rushed driving for me and it made an unavoidable stressful situation so much easier. Thank you

Hi Bran

Thank you for the really positive feedback for the the accommodation at the Fern Centre -to be able to offer this to local people and help those who really have no other alternative means a lot to us. The accommodation is for relatives of loved ones brought in as emergency admissions, or are end of life, ICU admissions and SCBU so not not just for cancer related situations and we are pleased to have been able to help out on this occasion.

I hope that your grandson has recovered well from his surgery and that the drive back to Exmouth was stress free.

I enjoyed having a chat and coffee with you yesterday and if you are ever passing please pop in.

Best wishes

Holly
