I went for the VP shunt surgery and felt extremely stressed about it. I couldn't sleep for 2 nights before the day I had operation. I was looked after by a lovely nurse Magda who made my journey much easier for me. She continued to show her empathy through all the time I spent in recovery, she was caring and kind, and did everything she could to make this experience much better for me. That nurse has a gold heart and I will never forget what she did for me. I am forever thankful to Magda for her support and care.
I would also like to thank the surgeons and other staff in theatre who made my life much better and easier. Thank you!
