About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I was recently admitted to Crosshouse & attended the clinical assessment unit who dealt with me efficiently. As a result of my doctors pre-arrangements, I was assigned a bed in the annex of the stroke ward. I would like to express my thanks to the nursing staff for their care and attention and the courtesy they showed not just to me but others who were in the ward and the interest they genuinely showed towards the patients. I thought the food was excellent and the members of staff who were involved in our creature comforts deserve praise.

The medical staff were most attentive and I was given all the attention, tests and advice which gave me the encouragement that I needed at what could have been a trying and time of concern. I was recently discharged.

Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to share your lovely feedback, which the staff in CAU and the Stroke Ward in UHC will be delighted to receive. The catering team will also be pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food provided.

During a period of unprecedented challenge for our teams it will be very encouraging for them to know that you felt so well looked after and supported at what must have been a very worrying time.
