"Received excellent care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Diabetic medicine

(as a service user),

I am type 2 Diabetic diagnosed around 1990.

I had 4th & 5th toes on left foot amputated in 2004 due to "gangrene" from ingrowing toe nails. District nurses have been coming to dress my left food twice a week. I have been "housebound" for the last three years. I attend Dundee house at the city hospital (foot clinic) every 4-6 weeks. The care I received from District nurses on your clinic has been excellent.

Unfortunately because we have no children and no family in this area we are unable to attend any clinic for our booster jabs which were due at the end of October.

We are vulnerable because we have visits from district nurses, a carer car, the occasional visitor.

I have difficulty holding a pen in my right hand due to O.A.

Am not able to get to GP surgery and GPs are reluctant to do home visits!
