"Outpatient breast referral"

About: Holbeach Medical Centre Pilgrim Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I was referred into the ULHT Breast Surgery service by my GP for an Outpatient appointment and cannot fault the care I have been provided.

From my GP who was so kind, knowledgeable and understanding, the appointments team who telephoned to offer and book my appointment in such a professional and kind manner, to the Breast Unit team at the Pilgrim whom I cannot praise highly enough.

The consultant I saw, Dr Abdelaziz, and her team were wonderful.

In what has to be described as one of the most worrying and anxious situations, every member of staff from reception, nursing and radiography, all went over and above to put me at ease throughout my appointment and diagnostics.

Thankfully all is well and I have been discharged back to my GP but I really wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you and how brilliant you all are.

I feel truly privileged and grateful to have received such amazing care, consideration and compassion.
